Gather your club and join SEG in the shadows of the golden dome for the Summer Takeover in South Bend, IN! This two-day event will offer multiple levels of competition ideal for your entire club. A perfect ending to your club's season!

 

This tournament is unrestricted. Teams registered in good standing with any U.S. Soccer Federation affiliate are eligible to apply.

Registration Deadline: Monday, May 31, 2021

Payment Deadline: Monday, May 31, 2021

  • Method of payment must be provided upon registration.
  • Teams will have the option to pay either pay in full at registration or choose the payment plan option.
  • If the payment plan is chosen, the final balance is due on May 31, 2021, and will be automatically charged to the method entered at registration.
  • Any team registering after this date must pay in full at registration.
  • A parking fee of $70/team will be automatically added to each registration and must be paid upon registering.  Attendees will not be charged individually on-site for parking unless they choose to upgrade to Preferred Parking (available online only).

*Should the event be canceled due to COVID related circumstances, refunds will be processed in full.

Documents Needed (due by June 7, 2021):

  • Soccer Events Group Roster & Waivers (Uploaded to your Soccer Events Group Team Page, Waivers (for each individual athlete) Signed Electronically)
  • Player Cards for each player listed on your roster.   Your player cards should also be with the team at all times while on-site.
    • If you do not have player cards, you will need to provide proof of birth for each athlete.  These can include: birth certificate, drivers license/state ID, passport, etc.
      • These will need to be uploaded to your Team Page as one large file, individual uploads will not be accepted.

**Each state association has different rules, and you may need to obtain travel permission or provide travel notice. You should clarify what will be done well in advance of the event. If your state association has denied the use of your passcards, Soccer Events Group will accept other forms of proof of birth including driver's license, state ID, birth certificate, passport. It is suggested that you apply at the earliest possible time. If you have complied with your state association’s travel permission procedures, they are required to approve your travel.

**Soccer Events Group will have Supplemental Insurance liability and accident coverage for all non-US Club Soccer participating teams (teams using US Club Soccer passcards already have insurance).

Tournament Check-In

In-person check-in will not be required IF a team has submitted all of the above-required info via their Soccer Events Group account by the due date.

If the information has not been submitted, teams will need to check in no later than 1 hour prior to their first game at Tournament Headquarters with all of the required documents to be eligible to participate.

What are the levels of competition?

  • GOLD: Intended for elite teams who compete for their respective State Cup Championships and/or compete in elite competitions such as USYS Regional Leagues (i.e. MRL Premier I) or ECNL.
  • SILVER: For competitive travel teams who compete in local leagues (YSSL, NISL, or IWSL) and travel regionally for leagues or tournaments.
  • BRONZE: For community-based travel teams who play in local leagues such as YSSL, NISL, or IWSL.

Registration is currently closed
